Restorative Dentistry

What is "restorative dentistry"? Technically restorative dentistry is restoring your teeth to proper form and function. Basically this means that the dentist can fix you. Well, at least he can fix your teeth. He has a whole bag of skills that enable him to take your teeth from average to awesome.

Implants

Dental implants are truly one of the biggest breakthroughs in dentistry of the last century. A dental implant is a synthetic structure that is placed in the space once occupied by the root of the removed tooth. The implant fuses to the jaw and provides a stable platform for a replacement tooth. Previously if a tooth was lost due to disease or damage the only options for replacement involved bulky dentures or bridges that negatively affect the remaining teeth.

Implants provide an excellent treatment option that is not only more comfortable but longer lasting. If you have questions about whether implants are a good option for you please let us know. Implant consultations are free of charge including xrays, and our dentist can discuss with you what options would be best to replace your missing teeth.

Technology

Dentistry has come a long ways in 50 years.

We live in a highly technical world and dentistry is no different. Unfortunately some dentists prefer to practice dentistry in the same way it was practiced 50 years ago. There’s a reason why your parents hated going to the dentist! We have invested a considerable amount of time and financial means to ensure that we stay at the cutting edge of technology available to us. We do this to make sure that our patients receive the best possible care in the most comfortable atmosphere possible. One of the ways we do this is with our in-office crown technology that takes a process that used to take 2 weeks and condenses it down to a single afternoon.

If you’re ever in our office and hear the crown mill running feel free to wander over and watch it work, it’s pretty amazing. Another way that we use technology to make your life better is with our Deka CO2 laser. The laser is used in therapies involving your gums and other soft tissues in your mouth. It uses intense energy to gently cut through the gums and it instantly seals blood vessels resulting in dramatically reduced bleeding during the procedure and less inflammation and pain afterwards.

Periodontics

This is perhaps one of the more overlooked areas of dental practice and is therefore something that we are sure to check when you become our patient. Periodontics deals with the supporting structures of the tooth, namely the gums and bone. When the gums are not cared for properly they can become inflamed which results in red, puffy gums that bleed easily. This condition is known as gingivitis. Gingivitis can progress into periodontal disease if left untreated. Periodontal disease or periodontitis is a serious condition in which the bone that supports the teeth recedes or pulls away from the tooth and as a result the tooth can lose some of its stability.

Cosmetic

I think I know why you found this page. When you smile you can’t help but feel self conscious about that one crooked tooth or that dark spot by your gums. Maybe the edges of your front teeth are chipped and worn or no matter how much you try to whiten your smile it just doesn’t get as bright as you’d like. Well, I’m glad you found us because you have options.

Advances in dentistry have made it possible for us to do some amazing things with your teeth and give you the smile you’ve always dreamed of. You don’t need to be embarrassed anymore or try to hide your teeth when you smile. In as little as 3 visits we can have you ready to walk the red carpet and show off your new smile to the world as well as your renewed and enhanced self-confidence. Don’t you think its time you did something for you? Give us a call. We can help.

Pediatric

We believe that good oral health starts when we are young. It is important that we see your children early, and it will help them if they see us in a fun environment that is not scary like the doctor sometimes can be.

3d Cone Beam

By generating a scan in 3 dimensions we are able to treat patients more comprehensively by accurately detailing placement of implants and other restorations before the surgery is event attempted.

Laser Technology

Laser technology aids in the treatment of periodontal disease and implant placement. It also offers a greater opportunity for painless dental surgery and offers faster healing.

Digital Impressions

Digital impressions are more accurate and higher resolutions that the traditional impressions, also most patients prefer a digital scan to all that "nasty goop" in their mouth
